Journey by train or travel coach

Very good train connection to Trier exist from many Germanys cities. Whether it's ICE connections from Berlin to Trier, or other direct connections from numberous cities or also convenient connections via the large stations in Koblenz, Saarbücken and Luxembourg.
 

The Delux-Express travels via the Luxembourg-Trier-Kaiserslautern-Mainz-Frankfurt am Main (airport) serveral times daily. This provides a comfortable and inexpensive alternative to other means of transportation and utilises the overland highways and motorways.
 

The closest station of the hotel is the Trier Main Station.

You can reach us from there directly with the city bus (Line 3, in the direction of Feyen or Weismark or line 13,  in the direction of Euren, Universität - every 10 minutes ) to the busstop Nikolaus-Koch-Platz directly in front of the hotel (travel time: about 10 minutes).
 

You can walk from the station to the hotel in about 15-20 minutes.

When you leave the Trier Main Station, walk straight ahead until you see Trier's landmark, the Porta Nigra. Walk through the arch of the Porta Nigra straight ahead into the pedestrain zone until you reach the Main Market. Turn right here into Dietrichstrasse and then behind the historical "Frankenturm". After a few yards/meters, you will already be standing at the side entrance of our Plaza Grill Restaurant on the right.
