He counts among the most significant thinkers of the 19th century: Karl Marx. Even today, hardly any other personality from this period is so well-known,but also so controversial and misunderstood. May 5,2018 will mark the 200th birthday of the great scholar and revolutionary. For this occasion,the great Rhineland-Palatinate State Exhibition: Karl Marx 1818-1883. LIFE.WORKS.TIME. will be presented in his native city of Trier from May 5 to October 21,2018.
