Since March 2022 finally open again - the stairway to heaven. 

Conquer 604 steps and 177 meters in altitude up to St. Mark's Chapel.

From there you will soon reach the St Mary's Column (Mariensäule) via the Moselhöhenweg and will be rewarded with a spectacular view over Trier.

The Porta Nigra is the best preserved Roman city gate. The complex consists of a central building with two gateways, flanked on either side by a tower.

The Imperial Baths were a Roman baths palace bordering the imperial palace to the south. They were among the largest of the Roman Empire. Today, only the rising masonry of the warm water bath (caldarium) is preserved at a greater height in the eastern part of the building, which was once about 250 meters long.

The Igel column is today the largest Roman pillar tomb, with a height of about 23m. It was built around 250 AD.
